In PUBG, PS4 Players Can Fight with Xbox Users

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds developers have added cross-play for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users. The innovation appeared in update 4.3.

Cross-platform matches have already been implemented, but players cannot join the same group if they play from different consoles. The developer said that such a function will appear later. Near the nicknames of the participants of the “royal battle” appeared the platform icon. The leaderboard for different devices is now one, the table also placed the console logo on which the user prefers to play.

In the settings, it is possible to disable cross-platform match search. If you wait a long time for a battle, users will be advised to enable the crossplay function for faster recruitment of players in the lobby.

Update 4.3 was uploaded to PUBG on September 25th. Together with him in the “royal battle” appeared the system of “skill of survival” and a new shotgun DBS, details can be read here.
