Dynamic weather change returned to PUBG

Storm, fog, rain and wind returned to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in update 4.2. Now weather conditions are changing throughout the match on the updated Erangel map.

For the first time, weather effects were introduced into the game before the release – then you could get into the match on a foggy or rainy Erangel. With the release of the “royal battle” from early access, developers abandoned this idea for optimization. In patch 4.2 PUBG Corp. returned a dynamic change of weather on Erangel, which will significantly diversify the gameplay. Each weather condition lasts only a few minutes, so players will have to quickly adapt to changing conditions.

In addition to the weather, the developers updated the interface, added additional destructible objects on Erangel, new seasonal things and colors for weapons, as well as skins dedicated to the PUBG Europe League. The third stage of the tournament will be held from August 21 to September 12.
